The Rhodopes are excellent choice for your summer vacation. You will be fascinated by its caves (the underground castles of the mountain), fortresses and temples. The Pamporovo Resort. Pamporovo is the southernmost ski resort in Europe with skiing traditions since 1933. It is the sunniest mountain resort in Bulgaria with wonderful snow throughout the season. The high mountain peaks keep the wind away from the slopes and retain the snow cover during the season. Pamporovo is situated at 1650m above the sea level at the foot of Snejanka peak /1926m/ in the greenest and most picturesque Bulgarian mountain - the Rhodopes, within 160 miles from the capital city Sofia and 50 miles from Bulgaria's second largest city, Plovdiv. The slopes are covered with snow throughout the skiing season from December till May. The winter here is unique with more than 120 sunny days. There are no avalanches and the winter temperatures have small daily variations. Pamporovo offers fantastic skiing conditions: 25 km of long-distance runs, 18 km of alpine ski runs of varying difficulty, including even a racing ski run for giant slalom, first class built-up ski lift (5 chair-lifts and 13 tow-lifts with total capacity 8500 skiers per hour) at an average air temperature of -3°C during the winter. It is also a top destination for the snow board enthusiasts. All ski runs are safeguarded and maintain very good conditions. Most of them proceed from the top of Snejanka peak and are located between 1926 and 1450 m above the sea level.

Dream Lake has a total living area of 34.000 sq. m. The investments in the development project will be more than 15 million Euros. The complex covers more than 37.000 square meters in the mountains. Almost half of the complex area is covered with parks and leisure facilities. Besides the living and leisure parts, the development includes all facilities needed for conference tourism and corporate events. The expected rise of prices after Bulgaria’s joining of the European Union in 2007 makes the Complex offer even more attractive.
