Orpheus Properties is an Anglo-Bulgarian family company. We specialise in finding typical Bulgarian houses and other buildings and restoring them to a high standard of comfort without losing their native charm and character. We offer high value holiday and retirement homes, specialising in houses on or near the Black Sea and in the mountain regions of the Strandzha and Stara Planina.
All of the houses that we convert have been designed by a conservation architect and restored using specialist builders under the direct supervision of our site manager to the sort of quality that we would expect for ourselves.
A do-it-yourself restoration may seem romantic and cheap, but the advantages and romance disappear when faced with the practicalities of finding materials, machinery and labour in a foreign language in a new country. B and Q have not yet arrived in Bulgaria!
Where we directly own a property it has been inspected by our team, renovations designed by our architect and carried out under the supervision of our own site supervisor.
